With a lack of toys and an abundance of imagination, Caitlin has had to improvise and make pretend toys to spend (some of) her days. Yes I am a pathetic parent letting my kid endure this. Her “skills” in improvising seems to have extended into her homework. See, they are teaching her “long” vowels, like school, food, [...] I am in kinda stressed frame of mind at the moment I have mentioned before about Caitlin’s creative streak. When we are at home just chilling and the kids are watching the idiot box, Caitlin would actually “multitask” and do some handicraft, using the scrap A4 papers that HM and I bring home from the office. [...] Caleb: buh-bye; Grr-grr- “go-go” is what is uttered whenever we are ready to go out. Now he’s the one telling us we should go out. Ma’am-mee (nope, still not calling Daddee); circa and dar (”circle” and “star”, when Daddee was doodling with him); tonne-ner whenever we enter a tunnel, or even under overhead [...] I don’t think she saw this from any of the few episodes of kiddie shows I download as podcasts. Indeed I haven’t been seeking or downloading many lately; and neither has Caitlin been watching a lot either, even of the old episodes from before. But one fine weekend day recently… She decided to get kakak to make [...] Can you guess what Caitlin is making here? Almost a year ago I had visited this blog and saw this prototype, and declared (to myself, mostly) that I would attempt this myself.
