Thank you, thank you, thank you. My kiddo just woke up from a nap covered in this rash. Fever went away last night. Now I can stop worrying.

I don’t know how you do it being away, but I commend you for doing the right thing! You’re a real family man as I see Dad’s day in and day out who could care less about how their kids are doing and how much they are missing out on right in front of their face.

Aww…isn’t that a bit harsh? She’s also a little girl with (or without) a Daddy. Imagine how you would feel if her Daddy did that to Caitlin? If I were that little girl’s Mummy, you can bet I have a word or two for you

5 – 6 year olds are little show offs especially around their younger siblings!

They are also developing more confidence in the basic skills of reading, writing and etc. Also, she’s not being rude by not looking up, ok? She’s concentrating.

Next time, you could try: “That’s not a nice thing to say. She’s only 3 years old. You are 5. Why don’t you show her how to draw? She doesn’t have her colour pencils with her. She’s only got my (crummy) pen…”.

If she allows, then praise her, “Wow, you’re such a generous girl. Good job!” Hehehe, I learned a lot from preschool teachers

Boys tend not to be as vocal as girls but believe me, he misses his Daddy! Hubby was apart from us for nearly a year with short visits in between – I could tell when he missed his dad because he would be clingier or naughtier than usual for a few days. You can check with your wifey on this.

Ha ! The long awaited reunion. Euphoria an understatement ? I see a long recount of the kids and just one “line” on HM ha ha. I am sure every moment was cherished and well spent. Caleb has developed a very affectionate nature and that is so great. He has no qualms of hugging me now. Caitlin, ah..sweet Caitlin will always be my special darling niece. I have yet to pass her the balloons I promised her sigh…
