Looks like you and HM and me and Gadget-daddy are kinda alike in bringing up out kids, but roles reversed. G-Daddy believes that they should be as independent as they can. I enjoy doing things with them. Even just supervising to make sure all is done correctly helps me be more relax. Hahaha... But we are planning to get the 2 big ones into their own room soon. ..
