.. and then he tried to be bad, badly, with bad.

My kids are still too young to be fans; other than fans of kids tv shows, at the moment; at least with Caitlin. She wants toys bearing Bob the Builder, that purple freak of a dinosaur.

Though, since Daddee has the radio on everytime he's driving, she's picked up the chorus of a few songs already. "..luv me hate me say what you want about me... if you see Amy.." (and Daddee's not about to explain the innuendo behind this Britney song!)

".. if they say why, why? Tell 'em that it's human nature...."

This so so funny... I mean a strange kind of funny.
(I smiled all the way reading this post of yours.)

Well, I was an MJ fan too, drawn in by my partner in class when we were 11.
After that, my sister and I sought out every different cassette sold just to get that one song not in other albums(?), and not like we had a lot of pocket money, and we had MJ posters plastered all over our walls. I think my parents were really worried about us. The whole thing was like a religion to us. Hahaha...

And similarly when he changed his image from "Bad" on, I was not into him anymore. Only a few of his songs in the later albums, "Heal the World" that I liked, but did not get anything for myself. I was by then seriously into studies, drama and sports. A lot of discovering and forming my own identity.

Anyway, MJ was very talented, and no one can dance like him. What he did for the music industry and performing arts, he really was ahead of his time. That's the tribute I give him.
