Thanks biuye!

What you described of Caitlin is not surprising, but yes- heart wrenching, even for when I read it today!

Like what I was writing on the train on the way to the airport, she is an adorable brave kid who does share what and how she is feeling, an interactive kid who is a real joy to talk to these days.

I went to see Caitlin and Caleb on Saturday, the day before you and Hot Mummee returned from down under. I must tell you this. I walked in, saw Caitlin and asked her how is my gorgeous niece. She plonked down on the sofa, looked at me with shoulders slumped and downcast eyes and said, "Biuye, I am good, But I miss my Daddee....." and looked at me with such an expression that I forgot she is 4 (ok..going 5). That was funny but heart-wrenching at the same time. You know what I mean??? I gave her a hug and said it is only a couple more hours and you will see your Daddee and she smiled and nodded. I am however really glad to see the "mark" on her thigh healing nicely. As for Caleb, adorable and loves attention. Yes, it is his new trick where he tries different "stances" of standing and looks at us expectantly...oh yes he wants applause. That tickled me endlessly. Your kids really made all the worries and troubles of the day seem nothing! Just thought you should know that, Daddee.

Welcome home.

Well, I always think: cuddle and carry your kids while you can. They grow so fast.

And especially with my boys, once they can start walking and running, they don't want any reigns on them!
...and I think you've seen that.

Glad that you are safely home with the kids, and hope you enjoyed your time in Oz.

PS I don't think Caleb has been spoiled as such, his behaviour is very common for his age and probably a way of being glad you are back and checking to make sure you don't disappear again :)

Yes she was! :)
It was good too that I planned to be home with another (public holiday) day to spare. Got to spend time with her before she goes off to school and I to work- the usual routine again.
