Caitlin does have a habit of lifting her shirt/blouse too! But it’s usually only at home, and when she is lazing on the sofa etc, stretching. BUT STILL!

Hi Dadee, I like your blog because your daughter and son are almost similar ages to mine .

It’s never too early to bring up this subject, especially when there are perverts out there abusing children as young as 3. As long as the child can talk and understand, I’d say better tell them early. I also told my daughter when she was about 4, about private parts and that nobody can touch except A, B, C. Messages given to children at this age REALLY STICK in their heads

I have also told my boys about such “touching”,

The other thing I have also told the older one is that you must also not indecently expose yourself in public. This is because he often will just pull of his wet clothes in the porch or back lane if they get wet.
I can’t stand this bad habit, as if we are some village people… sigh.

Well done Daddee, that was exactly how to handle this situation. You might remember that I too had to have this conversation before I expected when A injured herself on our backyard play equipment.
