Waking upon my entrance has been something of an "annoyance" for me; cos then the onus is upon me to soothe him back to sleep, usually means I gotta drop whatever I was doing, for about 10min....! It's not like I have a lot of time at home after work these days for self-pamper or other personal activities AND play-time with Caitlin (esp now that she is on holidays and bored senseless at home).

Ann, Christopher only peers down single women's tops?? Haha sorry- I know what you mean!

Will certainly keep that in mind.

I am mindful of the whole establishing-behavioural-patterns thing. We've made the "mistake" of carrying and rocking him to sleep now, so whenever he wakes, we gotta pick up him to soothe him back to sleep.

Oh...believe me, you have a rascal in the making.....especially given the last statement.

Try not to let him get used to hooking his finger though. Coz I gave it a miss and now my son is peering down EVERY SINGLE lady's boobs.....and it certainly is not nice when that happens when I am wearing a low(er) cut dress at a wedding dinner. People literally turn their heads away! :)

When E was in our room she would wake the nanosecond we creeped in, and this was a huge factor in finally moving her to her own room.

The flashing teeth thing is far more nerve wracking when it involves your boob, trust me :)

That waking bit when you tiptoe into the room, i think it's not the sound, but the smell...

Max, when a little baby, would do that too. After a feed, he sleeps and I would leave the room to do some chores. When I come back in, the moment I step in, he'd stir and call for me. HE was maybe 4 months then...
