I've always wondered about the whole Sydney/Australia connection!

Like Kathie I find it somewhat amusing that my kids are veteran flyers whereas I didn't step onto a plane until I was 18. I think I still get more excited than they do!

PS You've been tagged btw...

Well, my older siblings only had marbles to keep them entertained. For me, I already had those electronic games to play, the Casio ones; around the same time that digital watches were all the craze.

My nephews then had playstations to play on; something that even adults (ahem) were quickly getting addicted to and fighting with the kids over as well. Then, the next generation playstation, and online games now. Not to mention more elaborate portable games and iPods....

What a leap in only 1 generation...

Nice. And now you're sitting at a certain office that has so much to do with this tale. :)

Gadget-daddy and were saying how our kids are luckier than us: I never flew till I was 24, and that was to Singapore. The first time I stayed in a hotel was when I was 10, in Melaka for an uncle's wedding.

Gadget-daddy's first flight was when he was 21, for UK. First hotel stay maybe 12 in Singapore with his dad.

Micah's first flight was when he was 4 month old to Singapore, and stayed in a hotel too. Max's first flight was when he was 8 months old, to Singapore, and stayed at my sister's. His first hotel stay was in Penang.
