Attack of the noodles!

July 28th, 2008 · 4 Comments · A toddler's POV, Caitlin the heiress, Classic Quotes, Ergonomics, Food & feeding

Grandma was feeding Caitlin noodles. Grandma didn’t realise how hot the noodles was. Gave it to Caitlin, Caitlin immediately spat out, landing on her chest, and started crying.

Grandma immediately brushed it off Caitlin’s chest, comforted her, and was feeling bad…

“Sorry!! Grandma naughty! Grandma didn’t make sure the noodles was cool enough; Grandma naughty! So sorry darling!”

Caitlin, I guess felt sorry for Grandma. Still in her tears, Caitlin comforts Grandma, “No, noodles naughty! Not Grandma!”

Hahaha…..grandma was good natured about it! And her good naturedness brought out even greater good nature in your little girl!

Really goes to show, kids react better depending on how we react ourselves.

Yep, I heard this story from Hot Mummee last Saturday. Caitlin is really a good kid. We (Hot Mummee, Caitlin, Caleb (finally I see the little tike) with Debby the nanny in tow went for dinner at the Curve. Daddee (fave human on earth) was out on MBA (married but available) status. I told Hot Mummee and she cracked up on the acronym. BTW, I have mentioned that I loved to watch Caitlin eat. Oh..did I mention she is such a good kid!!! She shared noodles with me and she hugged me upon meeting me. Wow…that was just great. I guess Caitlin is the sort of kid who spends so much time around adults she is matured for her age. I really enjoy playing “rock, scissor, paper” with her. Caleb just gurgles with his toothless grin. Such a pleasant little boy. I talked to him and he enjoyed it and it showed in his actions – the kick kick wave wave thingy he does with his limbs. Not forgetting the grin. Aargh………..so adorable. But he is demanding little fella. He let out a big yell in the restaurant because he wanted to be carried but like any adoring biuye, I just smiled. What a wonderful Saturday night. Could not ask for more.
