Sigh, this Daddee ah, so silly…
It’s okay Daddee, I licked it already!
Daddee? Where is the talker from the radio?
What do you mean?
Where is the talker on the radio; where is he?
……..
While playing with her Lego toys, we were trying to build a tall castle, which obviously kept falling over. Daddee suggested that instead of building it upwards / tall; “So that instead of making the people run up and down (the towers), let’s make it wider (with the limited blocks) so that the people can run left and right.”
Caitlin lays the existing tall tower on its side. “You mean like this?”
I was dumbfounded, but still kept my cool. “Yeah, like this…” My goodness, lateral thinking!
And the final word, from Caleb: aaaaahhhhhhgegegegegegegegegegege…

It sure must feel kinda strange, kinda warm with 2 kids around! One action, another reaction.
And lateral thinking AT ITS BEST! Great thoughts Caitlin!

Well, both are action-oriented; if you count bullying Daddee as action!
I don’t know if it’s his cold- likely it is; but he’s just being quite difficult to feed these days.
I don’t think it’s a real concern at this point; when he’s vertical (ie not feeding) he is still his chirpy gegegege self; not showing any distress at all.

I know what you mean by lateral thinking! These kids just blow-away your mind with such fresh such a breath of fresh air too!
Btw, is it possible to feed the little boy semi-vertical? Just wondering as I have not done that myself before.

We usually cross our legs and have his head on the bend of our elbow, feeding him “semi seated”, if you like.
About halfway when he starts protesting, we’d then lie him down flat (sometimes with a small pillow) and he’d still drink, usually with his head turned to the side; either cos of watching tv, or just.
I know it sounds strange, but Caitlin used to also drink her milk lying down when she was a young’un.

Caleb looks so very adorable. Innocently planning his next “bully Daddy” kind of look I reckon. His looks are a mixture of you and the Mommy. Both Caitlin and Caleb are slowly developing their own personality. An exciting journey indeed especially for you and the Mommy. I am glad you have this blog for me for keep up.
