Like father like son…?

.
Taking the cue from the comment on checking my own old photos and comparing them to my kids now, I thought I’d do this comparison!

I was actually naked in that picture! No, not shy, just that its easier doing a mugshot comparison this way.

When looking at the photos, I couldn’t help thinking why it is that kids were allowed to be naked like I was, on those days, when these days we are so concerned about quickly clothing our kids for fear of them catching a cold? If anything, this tropical climate should be warmer from global warming!

  • Oh yup, I can see the resemblance there, esp. the mouth and the nose!

  • Hey, if I remember correctly, I think you still look pretty much like yourself fro your baby photo, right?

(sorry, but right now I am trying to remember your face from our outing. Must be the drugs that’s making me hazy…)

But your kids are sure looking a lot like each other. :)

    Haha!

Caleb is actually a better looking baby now, than when Caitlin was his age.

Also, he smiles a lot more than Caitlin did too.

And I personally think Caleb is (already??) a better looking baby, in the above 2 photos!

For me, I believe I went thru 3 stages of “looks”. But one thing is for sure, I never looked my age. When I was an adolescent, I looked older; I recall being approached by a fellow patient (I was in for a minor knee surgery) and he started talking politics to me! He later noticed I wasn’t responding, then realised I didn’t know what he was on about!

Then, I started looking younger than my age. I reckon if I went clubbing now, still no one would be calling me “uncle” yet! Hahahah!
