There are actually 2 lists in there. For me, I read it that the "tipping point" is at the age of 40, when we are starting to become short tempered to (our) the 10 year old child.

It is thought provoking. I found myself comparing the list with my dad, who raised 5 kids with a SAHM. Perhaps it was a lot easier back then, but I do also believe there is no "easy time" at anytime- it's what we make of our circumstances and situations *at the time* (ie like now, for ourselves too).

Very thought provoking post. I'm about halfway through the list in my life, and I already feel like my father is the best! He inspires me to be a good dad too.

We always appreciate our parents more when we go through what they have gone through!

Then we sigh and wish we had done some things differently in relation to them!

There will always be a generation gap that starts small, grows bigger and then ends small. Looks like the older our parents get, the slower they age!

Ann's last blog post..What would you do?

We have to go through the same experiences as our parents did, before we fully understand how much they have sacrificed for us. That's life my friend. Pray hard that our children will treat us well!!
