Go on- Ask me how my weekend was.. ask me ask me!
A couple of regular readers would know. In fact, some of them were even doing the same thing too!
It was Moomykin’s birthday (though not the exact day as I found out afterwards), and she had invited a few parents with kids of similar ages with whom to share her special day!
Thanks again, Moomykin, for inviting us for your picnic lunch party! It was a great surprise and experience for me meeting the bloggers in real life (yes, my first bloggers gathering!) We read so much about each other- events, personal thoughts, opinions, people in our lives, etc, and to finally meet you and the others for the first time was, to say the least, weird. We are meeting for the first time yet we actually do already know each other! But the weirdness very quickly wore off, as you could probably tell.
I had a great time! And for Wife, who used to think I was wasting time going into this thing called “blogging”, I know she too had enjoyed herself that day. We personally don’t know that many couples with kids of Caitlin’s age.
And the fooooood! I kinda regretted not taking up your offer to bring some home when we were leaving! No, I don’t mean the KFC!
Thanks so much for that, and the surprise gifts! Like I said, aren’t you the birthday girl??
Sorry, Ann and Mummy Yeoh for not speaking to you much. I was busy running after / feeding Caitlin, at the same time learning about all this science stuff and feeding myself too! Also, Wife had to go join her family for ching-ming soon after 2pm.
It was certainly a great day too for Caitlin- see for yourself!

Look! The leaves move when you touch them!
Look! A snail!
Look! The same snail!
This is exhausting and hungry work!

Great shots!
By the way, don’t mind the teasing in my entry of this event!
As you may probably already know I am not always straight, sometimes a little disgusting and terribly chin chai!
Hot mummy looks so immaculate next to ALL of us! Three cheers to hot mummy!

Haha! No, of course I don’t mind your comments! I thought it was funny!
Hmm maybe like Moomykin nicknaming her hubby as Gadget-daddy, should I start nicknaming Wife as Hot Mummee?
Hey, Daddee Yah! Thanks for making the event such a memorable one. I really enjoyed the chats we had, and Hot Mummee is pretty good in pointing things out to Caitlin too. Bravo, you two.
Oh, I love the shots you took. As I did not take any, I was almost tempted to put your photos up on my blog too . But thought I’d let you have the novelty… but really because I don’t know how to convert the file so that it fits and Gadget-daddy’s up to his ears with work this week..
