Yes folks, I am getting bored with the current look; in less than, what- a year?

Yeah yeah, at this point at least one of you would be sniggering, going “I hope you don’t get tired of your wife as quickly haha.” Seriously, I had that exact quote thrown at me at a recent interview. I didn’t think it was funny, and saw it coming light years away.

So, instead of going completely offline and committing myself to a deadline of a “re-launch” with a brand new look for this blog (and we all know how much I hate deadlines!), I have decided to “remain open” during this construction time…

So, please bear with the mess, the nails on the uneven floors, the bare unpainted walls, the bubble wrapped furniture, the uncultured workers, the poor lighting. Please don’t panic if during subsequent visits you find that the look is suddenly different. It is probably that I am toying with different colours…

I will try my hardest to quickly learn the nuts and bolts of this new theme, while remaining true to the theme and content of this blog….!

First challenge, of course, is to find a new banner graphic. I do like the first one I used- the smiley face one on the candle, with the background of a finished dinner and (chocolate cake) desert at Dr Pixie’s…

I had chosen that because I thought it somewhat represented the dinner-together-with-family sentiment, symbolically akin to this blog…

Perhaps I will try and be clever and re-use it?
