That’s more than 3 quarter-pounders!

At the current rate, given all constants remain, err, constant, the Dr said the baby is likely to be around or just over 8 pounds!

That’s what our obst Dr said last night in our followup visit. He was responding to us sharing that our friends & family have been commenting that Mummee’s stomach looks like it’s ready to pop, that it is looking quite big & “low” now.

Mummee is due in mid-Jan. So there is still some ways to go. I am getting a little concerned now as she has been waddling for a few weeks now due to the size.

By the way, Caitlin was 3.38kg’s, that’s 7.5 pounds.

In other news:

  • Mummee has gained 4 kilos in the last 4 weeks!
  • We still haven’t thought of a name for him yet (yes, him!)

So, Mummee’s a little freaked out at the moment!

    Oh…so cool…you are having a boy!

Ahhh…the perfect picture, a girl and a boy!

Thank God you didn’t have my gynae…he was VERY PARTICULAR about weight gain! But all will turn out fine, I am sure.

    Stay calm mummy!!!

  • Congratulations, one girl & one boy, perfect! ^_^

I love seeing newborns, they are the prettiest in this world!

We are thinking 2 kids will be enough, so- yes, I am glad this one will be a boy! Though I have a feeling this one will be a handful; given Caitlin is an angel, life isn’t going to be fair & give me another angel!

Haha! I actually think newborns are rather ugly! But they do grow into very cute little humans very quickly, so, PHEW!

  • Ooo… better think of a name fast!

Mmm… love the new born’s smell. It lasts only 40 days by the way.

Both my boys were heave: Micah was 3.8kg and Max was 4.05!! Micah was C section and max natural birth. My doc actually thot Max would be rather small, maybe 3.2, but we were all fooled! He is a pretty cheeky boy.

Have fun with the new one … all over again!
