Dancing (shoes) with toddler

October 26th, 2007 · 5 Comments · A father's POV, A toddler's POV, Ergonomics

Okay, this is the first review of a product that I am not using / do not own, nor am I getting paid for this!

I came across this, & just knew I had to share my “discovery”!

Before Mummee (& other men) start labelling me as being such a softy:

  • I do enjoy playing with Caitlin
  • I do want to be a part of her childhood
  • We already dance around the living room when her fave jingle comes on, even if it is the 100th time… and I still don’t think I am a softy!

Felt dancing shoes

I don’t think I need to explain how these shoes work; only that I wonder if they come in various combo of sizes!

I can think of a few occasions where this will come in handy… can’t you?

The red shoes are so pretty! You’re such a fantastic dad!

    Thanks Shireen!

Don’t forget to also check out the other “fantastic dads” on my blog list! ;)

Cool! can’t imagine my hubby in these dancing with the boys though. Hahaha…

Most of the time I do the dancing with them and it’s either they bouncing on the bed and me in my house slippers on the floor, or they are in my arms and we are doing all kinds of twirls and throws!!

Nice shoes, but we don’t need them either.

I am such a clumsy shocking dancer that I would end up falling over and crushing my daughter underneath me with her feet trapped in the shoes!

I don’t see my boys or myself wearing shoes like that but our youngest takes hip-hop dance lessons and he has some unbelievable moves already!

I try to show him some of the dance moves I used to use at the clubs and it isn’t a pretty thing to see. :)
